9:30am-1:00pm
Learn how to sew waterproof canvas, master curved seams, add ties, and attach sturdy webbing—all while making the cutest flower‑shaped market tote. In this class, you’ll practice trimming curved seams so they turn smooth and round, sewing fabric into narrow ties, and stitching a secure box‑tack around webbing.
We’ll build a super useful tote you’ll want to carry everywhere. The pictured sample is made with canvas for the exterior, but any non‑stretch woven fabric works beautifully.
Perfect for confident beginners and up. 18+
Students should bring:
⅝ yard of outer fabric of choice. This can be quilt cotton, canvas, lightweight denim but NO STRETCH.
Sewing thread to compliment their outer fabric.
Machine accessories and manual if bringing your own machine.
Included with the workshop:
Flower tote pattern
Waterproof canvas in a neutral color
Webbing (in a neutral color) for straps
