[june 29] Minimalist Beaded Necklaces or Bracelets

Learn how to design and string your own beaded necklace or bracelet using natural gemstones, freshwater pearls, glass beads, and sterling silver or gold-filled findings. All materials included with lots of options for including different materials and sizes. This is a fun and casual class where you will learn the techniques to secure findings on wire for professional-looking minimalist jewelry. Expect to finish one necklace, and leave with the materials and skills to make a second. Option to create bracelets too. All skill levels are welcome.

At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop. Aurora lives in Reno, Nevada and has been making jewelry out of blades of grass and collecting smooth rocks since before she could hold a pair of pliers. She grew up in Providence, RI as the daughter of two full-time artists and grandmother is a jeweler, too! Aurora incorporates beadwork and metalwork into her pieces, is obsessed with treasure hunting and refurbishing vintage pieces and does jewelry repair as well. When she is not creating you can find her skiing, mountain biking, or exploring the Sierras and Great Basin with her dogs.
