[feb 7] intermediate metalsmithing: handmade chain charm bracelet

Make your own delicate charm bracelet and learn the art of chain-making. In this workshop, you'll create a sterling-style chain bracelet and finish it with a handmade charm of your own design. Option to select from our premade charm collection if you prefer to focus on chain assembly and design. This is a great class to perfect your soldering skills.
You’ll learn how to:
Form and shape wire into rings, and solder a chain together
Create a clasp
Customize the bracelet length for a perfect fit
Fishing techniques of sanding and polishing
While this is an intermediate class, no prior experience is required. All tools and materials provided.

This class has a minimum sign-up of eight (8) participants. At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop. Workshop credits are not good for any in-store purchases.

Aurora lives in Reno, Nevada and has been making jewelry out of blades of grass and collecting smooth rocks since before she could hold a pair of pliers. She loves the meditative nature of seed bead jewelry, and loves to incorporate different techniques and stitches into her work. She is inspired and recognizes the influence of ancestral beadworker and makers from around the world, including her grandmother.
