











[nov 17] introduction to metalworking: mixed metals earrings or pendants
6-8pm
Mixed metals are in style this season and we are here for it. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll craft hand-soldered earrings using sterling silver and brass materials. Lots of different pre-made components will be available to choose from including woodland creatures, botanicals, and other small charms. You will also have the opportunity to create your own components as well. Techniques will include forming, cutting, stone setting, soldering, texturing, and polishing. By the end of class, you’ll walk away with a set of earrings or two pendants.
Sterling silver and gold-filled chains will be available for purchase at cost. This workshop is designed for all skill levels. No prior metalworking experience is required.

At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. Aurora lives in Reno, Nevada and has been making jewelry out of blades of grass and collecting smooth rocks since before she could hold a pair of pliers. She loves the meditative nature of seed bead jewelry, and loves to incorporate different techniques and stitches into her work. She is inspired and recognizes the influence of ancestral beadworker and makers from around the world, including her grandmother.
