[april 20] intermediate sewing: upcycled towel top

Summer is right around the corner and there's nothing cooler than making your own upcycled clothes! In this workshop with regional artist, Tabitha March, you will learn how to sew an ordinary towel into a criss cross towel top or pull over top you can wear to the pool, lake or right out of the shower.  

Choose to bring your own towel or use one from Tabitha's collection. All notions and sewing machines are included.

If you choose bring your own towel, please send a message with the picture of the towel and your usual top size to Tabitha. Beach towel size works best for size large and above.

At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop. Workshop credits are not good for any in-store purchases.

Tabitha March is the creative force behind Original Threadster, an upcycling business that blends a love of vintage textiles with a passion for embroidery and sewing. Born from her appreciation for craftsmanship and sustainability, Original Threadster celebrates giving new life to jackets through embroidery and vintage textiles. 

With over 20 years of experience in corporate training and development, she broke away from that world and seamlessly transitioned her skills to teaching sewing and embroidery workshops. She has been running her small business and leading workshops for the past four years. Her goal is to help others learn the art of embroidery,  while mastering simple stitches to create timeless, one-of-a-kind pieces that not only reduce waste but also become cherished pieces of art and unique additions in any wardrobe.
