Making friends is as simple as a quick stitch. This class is intended to teach you to make friends that know all about their healthy fiber intake. Students will learn how to knit in the round, increase, knit from the bottom up, pick up stitches, and add features. Knowledge of knitting, purling and casting on is helpful as this is not a beginner class. All supplies are provided.

At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop. Workshop credits are not good for any in-store purchases.

Lina Liz is a multidisciplinary artist based in Reno, Nevada, with a primary focus on textiles and fiber arts. Originally from South Carolina, she has lived in Reno for the past 10 years and has been actively involved in the local arts community throughout that time. Her work spans a wide range of mediums, with extensive experience in knitting, crocheting, sewing, and soft sculpture, alongside experimentation with various fiber-based techniques and materials. Through her classes, Lina encourages curiosity, play, and skill-building while helping students explore the versatility and creative approaches, supporting students as they experiment, problem-solve, and develop their own relationships with materials.
