[oct 4] everlasting flowers
12-3p
Create soft, lifelike flowers out of flat felt with artist Jinny Tomozy. In this class, you will create several blooms and foliage to compose onto a picture frame. These everlasting blossoms will bring color and life into your space, or make a heartfelt, handmade gift. Students will hand-cut flower shapes from felt, then use hot glue, parchment paper, and pastel pigments to shape and shade the petals and leaves. The finished flowers will be composed onto a repurposed picture frame premounted with chicken wire. A selection of frames will be provided, but if you have a special frame of your own, please bring it in and we can mount the chicken wire during class. All other materials and tools will be provided.
please note
At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop.
