Create edible art with Roberta of the Sugared Squirrel. Get into the spirit of fall with a fun, hands-on cookie decorating class! In this class, you’ll learn the basics of decorating with royal icing and create beautiful, autumn-inspired designs perfect for Thanksgiving. Each student will decorate six seasonal cookies, with all supplies provided – including cookies, royal icing in various colors, and decorative elements.
This workshop is beginner-friendly, and no experience is necessary! Students age 12 and older are welcome, but those under 14 must have a paying adult join them in the class. Additional cookie decorating kits will be available for purchase if you’d like to continue the fun at home.
*Class Includes:*
- Six fall-themed cookies
- A variety of royal icing colors and decorations
- Use of decorating tools
- Step-by-step guidance and techniques for successful decorating
Come join us for a relaxing and creative afternoon – perfect for all ages and skill levels! Please choose how many cookies you want, either 6 or 12. Roberta offers traditional flour and egg sugar cookies.

At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop. Workshop credits are not good for any in-store purchases.

Being the only child of an artistic and musical father, and a very talented cook and nurturing mother, gave Roberta the perfect environment to learn, grow and be exposed to so much creativity. Roberta grew up in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, Ca., fostering a love of nature and endless inspiration to draw from and infuse into whatever artistic endeavors she is working on.
Throughout her adult life, she’s worn many hats; Graphic Designer, Cosmetologist, Fiber Designer, Cake and Cookie baker. The Sugared Squirrel is the perfect way for me to share my love of all things creative with you.
