Learn the basics of beading with Aurora of Snowflower Studios! In this workshop, you’ll learn about standard beading materials, how to start & finish a project, and the foundational skills of beading. At the end, you’ll go home with a one of a kind sunglass or eyeglass chain that you’ve made.

Aurora lives in Reno, Nevada and has been making jewelry out of blades of grass and collecting smooth rocks since before she could hold a pair of pliers. She loves the meditative nature of seed bead jewelry, and loves to incorporate different techniques and stitches into her work. She is inspired and recognizes the influence of ancestral beadworker and makers from around the world, including her grandmother.
