Join Dr. Alison Szarko for an uplifting day of experiential self-love practices. Together, we will explore simple, evidence-based tools that have been shown to support people experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, and stress. You will learn practical skills you can use right away to nurture self-compassion, reconnect with your values, and notice more glimmers in the present moment. The workshop will also include a restorative sound-bath meditation, offering a chance to soften, ground, and simply be. Ages 13+. Snacks and tea will be provided as well as a lunch break.

Dr. Alison “Ali” Szarko is a behavioral scientist who blends psychological research with heartfelt care to support people in building resilience and maintaining their well-being.Through her coaching and workshops, she helps busy professionals, caregivers, activists and creatives—not only manage stress, burnout, or anxiety, but also reconnect with their values, build self-compassion, and find more presence in their everyday life. She’s been a resident of Northern Nevada for 16 years and is passionate about creating spaces of belonging and well-being in the high desert.
