In this introductory punch needle workshop you’ll learn how to complete your very own set of fabric coasters. Local artist Jessica Joy will guide students through stretching their fabric, coaster design and design transfer, punch needle basics and how to make fabric and yarn decisions based on your designs. You may have already tried this age-old yet trending craft or are a newbie. Either way, this workshop will get you making!
Please select below if you would like to bring your own supplies or receive a take-home kit. Appropriate for ages 12+. Yarns will be available all participants.

This class has a maximum sign-up of eight (8) participants. At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop. Workshop credits are not good for any in-store purchases.

Jessica Joy resettled in Reno three years ago and is loving this big little city! She has been practicing wood working, music, ceramics and fiber arts since childhood. When she’s not making or teaching creative workshops, she’s healing others as a pediatric healthcare professional and enjoying living on Truckee river.
