Participants will begin knitting the Sailor Slippers pattern by Annie Sews (can choose adult or child pattern). Each participant will knit a pair of sailor slippers with their choice of size and yarn. They will not leave with finished slippers but will leave with all of the skills necessary to complete the pattern. This class is appropriate for knitters that already know how to knit and purl. During the class they will learn m1r, m1l, k2tog, ssk, mattress stitch, and applied i-cord. Information for crochet options instead of mattress stitch and applied i-cord will be taught. Appropriate for ages 14+.
