Join local artist Ivy Case for this expressive mixed media workshop. Participants will paint and collage three small flat wooden ornaments using acrylic, paper collage, and expressive mark making. We’ll work layer by layer—simple color grounds, collage, then inviting in a simple subject and mark-making. Each person leaves with three finished, hangable pieces they can gift or bring out every holiday season. The goal is a warm, low-pressure studio afternoon that helps people unwind, tap into their creative muse, and create something beautiful and sentimental, even if they have never painted before! No previous art experience is needed. Ages 16+.

At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop. Workshop credits are not good for any in-store purchases.

A Wyoming native, for over a decade, Ivy Case has immersed herself in the creative world as a professional artist, dancer, and choreographer. Since settling in Nevada, Ivy has continued performing in a range of professional productions throughout the Reno/Tahoe area, both as a company member and a sought-after freelancer. Beyond the stage, Ivy is a painter and mother, dedicated to exploring creativity in all its forms. Her artwork has been featured in Edible Reno/Tahoe magazine, and her murals brighten the walls of businesses and private collections across the region. Whether through movement or visual art, Ivy finds joy teaching creative minds how to discover new ways of expressing themselves through curiosity, playfulness, and expressive mark-making.
