In this workshop, Sam Stremmel of Sierra Water Gardens will guide students through prep and design of your very own fresh lavender wreath! These beautiful stems are supplied from her own farm. This class is a unique opportunity to use fresh lavender from this season's harvest. Class includes all materials and instruction.

Sam moved to Reno in 2010 from Montana with her husband Sutter Stremmel. They purchased an outdoor sanctuary on the Truckee river called Sierra Water Gardens and worked around the clock to sustain a nursery with very unique retail experience. Sam and Sutter operated SWG for eight years before they leased the property to focus on two other Dickerson Street staples, The Wedge Ceramics Studio and Sierra Water Gardens indoor space. Sam holds a BFA from Montana State University and teaches plant care and cultivation.
