Learn how to paint spring bulbs in watercolor with artist Kristine Toward. In class, Kristine will discuss multiple styles with step-by-step instruction on how to paint these intricate beauties in an approachable way. This class is a relaxing and mindful way to tune into the energies and pigment and the flow of the water as you focus on your art and let all your other stresses go for a couple hours. Ages 14+ and great for all levels, from those who have never painted with watercolors to experienced artists.

Students who bring their own supplies will need:

full range of watercolor pigments
watercolor palette
cold pressed watercolor paper
pencil
number 6 and number 8 round brushes preferred but any small - medium sized brush is okay
water cup to rinse brushes
paper towel or cloth
artist tape

At this time, due the amount of pre-planning, nature of a workshop environments and with respect to our instructor, we can not issue refunds on workshop registrations. In the event of an emergency, please notify us you will not be attending at least 48 hours prior to receive a credit towards another workshop. Workshop credits are not good for any in-store purchases.

Kristine Toward is an illustrator and designer with a passion for portraits and botanicals. She currently resides in the high desert wonderland of Reno, NV. This has been an inspiring place for someone with a fascination of the desert landscape, as well as an affinity for the cool, dark forest and the shimmering waters of alpine lakes. Being a part of this world between worlds has offered her a beneficial environment to fuel her botanical passions and influence her artistic craft. As a lifelong creative, she is all about soaking in the details, a trait she pours into her designs and illustrations. She teaches through her love of watercolors and nature, enriching others by encouraging creative exploration, attunement to the cycles of our environment and inspiring beauty through simple moments of self care.
